The purpose of this Energy Conservation Policy is to promote energy efficiency and conservation at Al-Quds University, with the goals of reducing energy consumption, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions, and minimizing the university’s environmental impact. Scope
This policy applies to all buildings, facilities, and outdoor spaces owned, leased, or operated by Al-Quds University, as well as all university-sponsored events and activities, both on and off-campus.
Energy Conservation Measures
A. Lighting
- Replace inefficient lighting with energy-efficient LED or CFL bulbs.
- Utilize motion sensors and timers to control lighting in common areas, corridors, and restrooms.
