At Al-Quds University, we appreciate the importance of mental health in personal development, academic success and productivity in the workplace, and in the overall performance of individuals. We are providing accessible, confidential, and discrimination-free mental health services in 2025.
Services Related to Mental Health
- Student Counseling Services
We have counseling services on each of the main campus, and each of them provides the following:
- Counseling services
- Crisis intervention
Assistance in managing anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, and challenges in interpersonal relationships
- Educational and evaluative anxiety counseling
- Supplementary Services for Academic Staff and Instructors
In collaboration with the Center for Professional Development, our Human Resources Department offers:
- Workplace mental health programs
- Crisis intervention
- Dispute settlement and mediation services
- Tailored counseling and counseling hotline services
- Emergency Mental Health Services
Students and academic staff who are dealing with acute mental health problems have access to 24/7 emergency mental health services. Responders who are trained to assist in emergencies are on the line and follow up to ensure safety.
Peer Support Networks
Spearheaded by our student affairs division, students are supported by trained peer mentors in non-clinical capacities, and help normalize the help-seeking behavior.

Coordination with Campus Life
All services are universal and synchronized with the academic departments to provide flexible timing, exam supports, and assistance to students with enduring mental health impairments.
Mental health promotion is part of the orientation of the university and has been woven into the residence life programs, faculty training, and other activities to promote a whole campus approach to mental well-being.
