Our courses, designed to delve into the different aspects of climate science and environmental sustainability, lead to the award of an officially recognized qualification. These degrees are accredited by the local higher education ministry and internationally recognized, affirming Al-Quds University’s standing as a global institution.

Master of Renewable Energy and Sustainability

This program aims to equip graduates with in-depth knowledge in renewable energy, smart grid systems, power converters, energy policies, and energy management & economics. The emphasis is not only on technical knowledge but also on formulating and developing scientific research in the field of renewable energy and electrical energy, contributing to the growing body of knowledge in renewable energy.

Master of Water Science Innovations

As water scarcity becomes an increasingly pressing issue, the Master’s Program in Water Science Innovations introduces students to the latest technologies and innovations in water sciences. This includes methods of preventing and remediation of water pollution, advanced programs of water simulation and modeling, and the application of these technologies in cooperation with European and Arab countries.

Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development

Established in 2000, this program has trained over a thousand graduates ready to contribute to comprehensive development programs in various sectors. The program fosters networking and coordination with academic and non-governmental organizations interested in sustainable development, thereby serving the cause of sustainable development in Palestinian society.

Bachelor of Professional in Solar Energy Technology (PSET)

This innovative undergraduate degree aims to foster self-employment opportunities in solar energy and energy efficiency sectors. In addition to developing required skills in solar energy management, the program focuses on creating successful scientists and professionals in the solar energy sector.

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences

The department offers a major in Life Sciences and three subsidiary specializations in Medical Technology, Animal Science, and Plant Science. In addition to these, there is a Biotechnology track. The courses reflect the latest developments in biology, including molecular biology, biotechnology, genetics, and modern applications.

Other Courses

Each undergraduate degree program at Al-Quds includes a mandatory course on sustainability. This course gives students an understanding of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and provides a holistic view of climate science and environmental sustainability.
