Social Sustainability Training Program
Al-Quds University implements a mandatory annual training program on the social aspects of sustainability, targeting both academic and professional staff, alongside structured engagement for students.
Program Scope
The training program addresses key themes including:
- Social equity and justice
- Gender equality
- Cultural diversity and inclusion
- Human rights and ethical leadership
- Community engagement and social responsibility
Delivery and Structure
The program is delivered through a combination of:
- In-person workshops
- Online learning modules
- Curriculum-integrated sessions
Training is mandatory for staff and embedded into student learning through orientation programmes and academic activities.
Participation and Impact
In the 2025–2026 academic year, the program reached:
- 720 staff members
- 4,600 students
- 88% participation rate
Participation is tracked annually, and structured feedback indicates strong improvements in awareness, inclusive practices, and social responsibility.
